Installers Ruben and Kamil Pass Gas Safety Qualification

We’d like to say a big well done to Kaboodle Installers Ruben Pestana and Kamil Olejnik for successfully completing their gas safety qualification.

We are extremely proud of Ruben and Kamil, who both joined Kaboodle in October 2022 and passed the 19-week course - seven weeks in the classroom and 12 weeks on-the-job training - with flying colours.

Kaboodle Installation Manager Shaun Summerbee said: “Ruben has great attention to detail and a fantastic attitude. He was asking about gas courses even before they were available and as soon as it was offered to him, he jumped at the opportunity.

“Kamil is an experienced site fitter, with exceptional fitting ability. With site work, there can be issues that are outside of our control, and it is very easy to get frustrated. When these issues occur, we work together as a team to get to the best outcome. And both Kamil and Ruben are fantastic team players.”

The course saw the Kaboodlers carry out a four-week stint at college, going over everything they will need to know whilst doing gas work. This was followed by a 12-week period where they built their portfolio of gas work and then a final three weeks at college.

At Kaboodle, it's important to us that our installers are educated in their trade to the highest level, to ensure the work they carry out is always safe and of a high quality.
