To combat the skills shortage in the Gas Installer industry, Kaboodle are proud to announce a new partnership with the U.K.’s leading gas training provider, Logic4training.

In a combined effort to encourage more people to enter into the Gas Installer industry, Kaboodle and Logic4training will be focused on supporting up to 40 students per month with access to vital ‘on the job’ experience.

Kaboodle Managing Director Matthew Pitt said ‘This new work experience program will enable gas industry students to complete their portfolio in areas they may otherwise have struggled to gain experience. This in turn will help to bring fresh talent into the workplace faster, which not only brings huge benefit to a significantly under skilled industry, but it will also encourage more school leavers and career changers to consider a more achievable path into a highly rewarding gas installation career.

Darren Scott, Head of Business Development at Logic4training said ‘Of course, academic education is vital when it comes to gas safety training, however without that key ‘real world’ practical experience gained on the job, our students find themselves at a huge disadvantage when competing for roles. Ultimately our business is driven by our passion to get as many people into work as possible, so finding a partner like Kaboodle who share our commitment to reducing the skills shortage in the UK is an absolute win all round.
